Publisher's summary

"You were on your way home when you died. It was a car accident. Nothing particularly remarkable, but fatal nonetheless. You left behind a wife and two children. It was a painless death. The EMTs tried their best to save you, but to no avail. Your body was so utterly shattered you were better off, trust me. And that’s when you met me."

A short story about the universe.

Worth the $2

It's an interesting piece of philosophy, but wasn't anything super ground breaking. It's worth a listen if you like the author.

A fascinating concept.

I had no idea what to expect from this, but I loved The Martian so I thought I'd give it a try. Although it's something utterly different from the bestselling novel, I found it a worthwhile listen. This short story presents a concept of life-after-death that I hadn't encountered before, and one that is very thought-provoking: if you take it to heart you might need to adjust how you interact with other people.

nope

I had high hopes reading all the nice reviews but was let down here. Yes it's thought provoking but it's not worth $2. RC Bray did another fantastic job as did Andy Weir for that matter. I respect their contribution to entertainment but I just can't believe I spent $2 to listen to an 8 minute story.

an odd little story

really interesting if a little short. Im not really sure what to say but it definitely has that Andy Weir feel to it.

It's good.

My mind was not blown but it had the usual excellence I'm accustomed to from anything by R.C Bray.

Superb

This short story reminded me of Scott Adams' "God's debris". You won't regret investing in this... "idea"?

Suitable precurser for a 'Meaning Of Life' debate

Short, at 7 minutes but original plot and storyline. The idea is interesting because it is different. Thought provoking, despite its improbability. Do not waste a credit on it - buy it - I doubt many will regret it.

Andy Weirs style and original thoughts that I first came across in The Marian are reflected here. Based on that book, and this 'long paragraph' (calling it a booklet is exaggeration), I intend trying another book of AW's.
