    "Wait for the Unabridged version"

A excellent series to read, but if you cannot get the unabridged version, not worth the listen. So uch happens that is lost trying to condense it down to 3 hours. Look for the other unabridged Shannara series books

    "Would have prefferred unabridged"

I really enjoyed the book as well as the entire Shannara series but would rather have had it in an unabridged version.

"Terry Brooks is wonderful but not abridged!"
Would you try another book from Terry Brooks and/or Theodore Bikel?

You really need the whole book to understand and enjoy this story. He's too good to cut short.

    Story
"The Heritage's Druid of Shannara Short & Sweet"
Would you listen to The Druid of Shannara again? Why?

Short on time and wanting a good tale This book is for you. There is nothing like reading the full tale but This version brings you back in without leaving too much out.

What other book might you compare The Druid of Shannara to and why?

I'm not much for comparing writers or their tales. I think that Brooks magic is one of his own in style and character depth. He has an ability reach his fans and keep them coming back for more and I must say the Druid of Shannara delivers!

What about Theodore Bikel’s performance did you like?

Theodore Bikel is a fantastic storyteller and is quite easy to listen to with his very own style of narrating.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

    No spoilers for you! :-)

    Any additional comments?

The only thing I would say negative, is that I was disappointed to not find an unabridged version. Terry Brooks Is such a masterful storyteller that you kind of feel cheated when you know there are bits left out. This abridged version was well done but nothing beats the real thing!
