Live like the dead, or sleep like the dead? Dick makes his choice....
Dick is finally clean - mind and body - from his poisonous addiction, only to be sent reeling again upon awakening and discovering Steve and Jamie have startling secrets of their own. It will take every ounce of focus and resolve to shake off his new reality and make a trek to Arkansas to reunite with his wife and daughter, especially with the other challenges he faces along the way. He thought he was ready to face the world anew, until he realized the world was out to get him first.
The Devil's Due is the ending to the action-packed prepper thriller trilogy, filled with real-life gut-wrenching decisions, and a twist so sharp it may snap your neck.
Proceed with caution.

Loved the entire Series and the Characters! Great storyline and I'm going to miss the characters now that the Series has ended! Hats off to you Mr Pierce! Another awesome narration!
I had a feeling Dick had some issues, good story and the struggles feel about right. When this does happen people are going to have a hard time excepting the world. the people that except it will survive.
Our protagonist Dick Pershing is clean & sober once again. After his rescue from the DHS at the end of book two we find him recovering at the farm of Steve and Jamie. Throughout the book Dick has reoccurring problems recognizing women and girls as his wife and daughter due to his PTSD. This “little” problem causes him to be punched, stabbed, and nearly killed several times, besides the ongoing battle with DHS and NATO forces. Eventually it’s time for Dick to pack his bags and head home to Arkansas. Dick does make it home and with a stunning surprise twist can finally relax and make plans for his future. This was an excellent story and a fine ending to a great trilogy. Kevin Pierce made it all the more pleasurable as usual.
I have experienced adventures and objectives others have only read about. Perhaps one day my story can be told? Until then, I will listen!
If you are looking for a fast paced story with action, adventure, violence, humor, and a little romance sprinkled in between...This is a series you should listen to! The story although fictional, is not outlandish. Combine a decent story with an excellent narrator and you have an adventure on your hands. Kevin Pierce will have you cheering for the wins, chuckling with the characters, and feeling sorrow at the losses. This book finishes the series leaving you satisfied at the outcome and kinda sad that it's over!
this story has so many layers and just when you think you know what is going to happen next... you get slapped back to reality!
so well written with deep meaningful character progression while truly moving the atory along. leaves you wanting more but not in a cheap "wrote this book purely to sell the next one" way. Honestly the story could end here or it could go on for another 10 books. this story is that good! I will admit my fingers are crossed for 10 more.
You listen to a writer build relationships through three books and then destroy them on the last book, makes you realize you don't need to buy purchase or read any more of his books. Too bad.
