Entertaining action
Very entertaining action story that is enhanced by an excellent narration. The narrator really adds to the suspense and colors of the story and characters. Plot is a little predictable in places but not in others. I am looking forward to the continuation of the story in subsequent volumes. Hope the same narrator is used.

After book one in the “Chronicles” series, this is shaping up to be even more enjoyable than the “Revelations” series. Some of the best characters of any book series I’ve ever read. Wish it never had to end.

The story takes a slow pace, but it is worth it.
I usually don't enjoy when a story has such a slow pace, but this was well worth getting past the first few chapters. It actually made me thirsty for more.

Best series in years
I am an avid Recorded Books reader as I travel 80 miles one way to work several times a week. This is the best series (all the Riyria works) that I’ve read in nearly a decade. Well thought out with believable and likeable characters and enough intrigue and humor to keep you captivated. Most things turn out as they “should” but there are enough secrets to also keep the reader surprised. Highly recommend Riyria!

Where does The Crown Tower rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
This one ranks very near the top. It is a wonderful engaging story and Tim Reynolds is excellent in his performance. It is so had to put this book down.
