Rish Outfield
Rish Outfield presents a dozen stories performed by the author. Stories include
"Stormy Weather" "The Cemetery Tale" "Lost and Found" "MagiClaw" "Unconventional" "Sleeptalkin' Gal" "Last Night of Freedom" "Trick" "The Calling"
Includes some bonus flash fiction pieces not available anywhere else! ©2000, 2003, 2008, 2010, 2011, 2013, 2014, 2016 Rish Outfield (P)2016 Rish OutfieldRish has a lot of experience narrating, and producing, both his own stories and those of other authors. It shows here. Every character gets a unique, spot on appropriate, and well acted voice, all of which fall perfectly into place w/o disrupting the flow of Rish's own narrator's voice. The author's vocal skills almost make these stories sound like full cast recordings. Some of the voices are also hilarious, but always appropriately so.
The author's comments were always enjoyable and enlightening when offered, and missed when not. The interspersed flash fiction bits ranged from fun to meh, but didn't get in the way.
I got at least as much entertainment value out of this collection as I would from a well above average novel of equivalent length, and went on to purchase Rish Outfield's other story collection as well.
Diverse, engaging stories well produced.
