Dream Park, the ultimate in amusement parks, was about to embark on the greatest game ever: the California Voodoo Game. Across the world, bets were being placed; fortunes and reputations hung in the balance. Gaming careers would be made - or destroyed. And the most advanced software package ever invented was going to be tested.
But one of the players was a murderer - and worse. Only Alex Griffin, head of Dream Park Security, and Game Master Tony McWhirter guessed the extent of the treachery tainting the Game. Somehow, they had to catch the killer - but above all, the Game must go on....

the novel has really good details okay then the storyline failed to tell you things it would have been good if they are given the actual events and a final conclusion letter saying well maybe you guys could have happened it would have been better.
I love everything Larry Niven is involved with, the Dream Park series is no exception. the voice acting is amazing. I would get audio books just because Stefan's name was on it.
"Groundbreaking for its time"
The basic idea is novel and the writing style is dynamic and slick. The pacing throughout is just about right. There is a lot to like about this book although the idea is ultimately silly, a little suspension of disbelief is always necessary with SF, While not the strongest book in the series, it is a good read and Stefan Rudnicki does his usual wonderful job of presenting it.
