Publisher's summary

The number one New York Times best-selling series finale and sequel to A Discovery of Witches and Shadow of Night.

Look for the hit TV series A Discovery of Witches, streaming on AMC Plus, Sundance Now, and Shudder.

Bringing the magic and suspense of the All Souls Trilogy to a deeply satisfying conclusion, this highly anticipated finale went straight to number one on the New York Times best seller list. In The Book of Life, Diana and Matthew time-travel back from Elizabethan London to make a dramatic return to the present - facing new crises and old enemies. At Matthew’s ancestral home, Sept-Tours, they reunite with the beloved cast of characters from A Discovery of Witches - with one significant exception. But the real threat to their future has yet to be revealed, and when it is, the search for Ashmole 782 and its missing pages takes on even more urgency.

That you can immediately hit play and re-enter a beloved new world, or love story, or era from history is a gift to the devoted listener. But how to pick just 100 of these unique and immersive listening journeys? We defined a series as having a minimum of three books, and—after some debate—we decided the titles had to be anchored in fiction. From YA to horror to historical fiction, from fresh voices to seminal tales, hours of discovery await.

very good audio acting

I enjoy the tv show so had to start the books. The audio acting was great and really kept the feel of a movie in your head going. The book is so much more than the tv show. Have to read them all.

Good but lacks some punch or something

The book answers lots of questions raised during the series and provides satisfaction on many challenges the characters faced but I do feel the author could have packed some more action in several places verses slow, reading and planning of action. Seems like the romantic part was always so subtle that you could almost forget this had a love story beginning. Still very much worth reading.

Discovery of Witches Trilogy

The storyline of these books is good, but the narration by Jennifer Ikeda is outstanding. Her ability to personalize each character using different accents and voice pitches is remarkable. So much so that when a character isn’t heard from in a while, the minute they reappear, you know instantly who they are.

Perfect Ending Series

This was the perfect ending to a series i really did love. While I loved book 1 and book 2 did not float my boat, the last book (3), made up for it. The storyline was fast and full of fun, magic, drama and most importantly romance (which I think could have had a bit more, especially with a vampire with "Blood Rage").

Perfect!

A fast paced emotional roller coaster read. What a wonderful ending to the trilogy. Bittersweet to the end.

🎵🎶🎼I could've read all night🎼🎶🎵

I stumbled upon the television series and after two episodes darted over to the books. Thank goodness for this reading, otherwise nothing in my life would've been completed.
