Drizzt Do'Urden struggles with his own inner voices, voices that call him back to the pitiless depths of the Underdark. But louder still are the voices of his newfound friends, and the dream that drives Bruenor Battlehammer on to reclaim Mithral Hall. Time and again they're told to turn back, that some dreams can never be fulfilled, but on they fight - together.

I love this story, but the narrator pronounces some words in such a way as to make me feel like I just heard nails on a chalkboard (lived for instance). Fortunately these words are few and far between. He does alter his voice slightly for different characters so that is good.
Hello, My name is Levi Brousseau. I'm on a life long mission to find stories that blow my mind.
V.B. always does a great job bringing the books to life.
Always a good listen. Love every story so far. Looking forward to listening to the rest.
Once again, check Drizzt out if you have not already.
I grew up reading these novels and I must say I thoroughly enjoyed being able to introduce my significant other to them in audiobook format. my only quibble would be the narrator's pronounciations...and not just for fantasy names and such. We burst out laughing every time he read the word "lived" (he pronounces it to rhyme with writhed). On the whole however, it was extremely enjoyable and we'll definitely be getting the rest.
I grew up reading R.A. Salvatore's Drizzt books. He has been a constant in my life since middle school. I love the way these books flow and the deeper stories they tell. This book will always be one of my very favorite books.
Loved the book, but the only way I can listen to an audio book is if the narrator is absolutely great. I have not heard this versatility since Roy Dotrice of the Game of Thrones series.
Hello, my name is Teresa and I'm an addict.
On the road our companions get up to all kinds of trouble. I crack up when Bruenor say's "I'm a bearded gnome." I wish there was more face time with Guenhwyvar, but I suspect the next book will have more of her in it. This book ends with an Empire Strikes Back moment, where there good guys aren't on the winning side. I can't wait for the third book. I enjoy the narrator he has a smooth voice and is easy to listen to. As always Drizzt rocks.
