Came with a high recommendation for the series
The book is enjoyable. A little slow/hard to swallow at some points… but I used that to pause which for me built up more anticipation and drama… but that is how I work. I’ve been told the series gets better and better. Looking forward to it!

different
The narrator, at first listen sounded boring like they hated their job but as I listened I applied that tone to the main character's personality. aside from hearing his tongue move in his mouth or the other occasional swallow, the book was great and I will be checking out more. this was an accidental find.
