    "Boring."

I found this story to lack depth. It's like a James Bond movie that's all about gadgets. Huge piggy backing of loved and known characters from RA Salvatore's franchise yet that didn't compensate enough.

Excellent reading performance. Little over the top sometimes but the book IS over the top.

"Was worth waiting in the drive to finsh a chapter!"
Would you listen to Stone of Tymora again? Why?

Yes and did. Rebooted it up on a long drive with the youngest boy. Was the first time he didn't care about how fast we got there.

    "Mediocre at best"

This is not one of Salvatore's better works. The summary is misleading concerning Drizzt being paired up with the insolent child in their search for resolution, and it was too unbelievable that these children had fighting skills that out did seasoned warriors. I wasn't impressed by the overbearing arrogance of a 12 and 13 year old, it really soured the whole story. If this is what we're in store for, I'll probably pass on future books written by these authors.

    Story
"Written from a childs perspective can be hard..."
Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?

Maybe. Why i would because it is not a terrible read. Why I wouldnt, because I prefer a ton of other books that I would recommend first.

What was the most interesting aspect of this story? The least interesting?

Most interesting is the story itself, I like the plot, the bad guys, good guys, fantasy characters. I love hearing about Drizzt, Bruneor, Wulfgar and Cattie Brie from a third perspective. Least interesting is the main character and his main companion. I have a hard time "believing" a child his age could accomplish the feats he does and I think the writer is trying to write from a boys perspective, which is also hard to deal with because I no longer see the world from a "woah is me, I am 8 years old and nothing is fair" perspective.

What about Ramon DeOcampo’s performance did you like?

He does the voices very well and diversely. Although he read a little too slowly with too many breaks for me so I have him on double speed.

Was Stone of Tymora worth the listening time?

Sure. I have aaaa llott of listening time ;P

    Any additional comments?

Not the Authors best work, but definitely a better read then some fantasy out there.

    "Great Story!"
If you could sum up Stone of Tymora in three words, what would they be?

    Fascinating, enjoyable, exciting

What other book might you compare Stone of Tymora to and why?

Shannara series perhaps. An epic adventure with lots of action and a good story line.

Have you listened to any of Ramon DeOcampo’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

    No.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Bonded as a baby too a fate no one would choose, Death stalks him, Allies lie to him, whom does he trust? Where does he turn?

    Any additional comments?

I enjoyed the story very much as well as the performance. However the story was given in a continuously heightened state, which made the exciting parts less so, and does not allow the listener to relax during the calmer portions of the book. Despite this, I really did enjoy listening to the book!

    "Not terrible but tiresome."

Well read, but repetitive and predictable. Not sure I'll read another. Even scifi fantasy can be researched and accurate. Horse can't vomit. Irksome faux pas to thousands of horse people.
