Publisher's summary

Ten years after the first book, Lost, a mysterious witch hunter finds Cinderella and gives her a message that the faerie queen, Mab, searches to destroy her, and he asks her to return to England. Fearing that she will be pulled back into the maelstrom of Napoleon's war sprouting throughout Europe, Cinderella flees and wishes to remain free. Yet the further Cinderella runs from her fate, the more she is drawn back as she learns of a dark secret that forever changes her and sets her off on a course she might never survive.

Stolen is packed with intrigue, adventure, and just the right amount of romance that fans of the Cinderella's Secret Diaries series have come to expect.

Not Your Childhood Fairy Tale... but in a good way

What did you love best about Stolen?

This is not your childhood fairy tale... in a good way. Not everything ends up with a happily ever after and Cinderella finds this out the hard way. Stolen picks up 10 years after the first book Lost. Cinderella must tread carefully between fractions that would see her demise. Again Mr. Vitale has written a gripping story of magic and intrigue. Like a great baker he has seamlessly mixed genres of fantasy, sci-fi, romance, time travel with a dash of history to create one tasty morsel of a book. This book should appeal to a wide range of audience. Even though this is a stand alone book, I would suggest to either read or listen to book one Lost as characters and situations are brought back. My only critique would be on the narrator and to preface this is my own preference in my minds eye the narrator's voice is too young sounding for Cinderella. She did a decent job I just had a hard time listening and catching all the words because of her higher register voice even with the kindle sound on high.Again this is my hearing issues. However I just listened again to the book and ran it through my new UG wi-fi speaker and listened to the story while cleaning the house. Since this speaker is noted for it's base qualities it created a richer sound of Ms. Mann's voice and it really enhanced my listening enjoyment.
I received this book as part of a promotional give away and this is my honest review.

An unusual but good tale.

The next book in the Cinderella’s Secret Witch Diaries has her in American trying as hard as possible to stay as far from the English court as possible raising her young daughter on her own. Yet as hard as she runs the past is coming to get her. The author weaved in some twists that kept me up way to late just listening to the book. Two thumbs up!! Great job of writing!! This book is again supported by Jessica Mann as the narrator. It will be a while before I can get books three and four but I cannot wait to find out what happens. I did receive a free copy of this book and voluntarily chose to review it.

Enjoyable Twist On A Classic Tale.

Enjoyable alternative take on the classic tale. Loved how many different aspects were pulled in.

LOOKING FORWARD TO 3rd BOOK

I received this audible book as a gift for an honest review. This book takes place 10 years after the first book ends with Cinderella living with her daughter Phoebe in America. They're heading west in a wagon with their friend Rene. Cinderella is a witch and Rene is teaching her how to use her powers. Everyone is after Cinderella for her powers. There are so many twists and turns, you don't want to quit listening. The narrator did an excellent job and held my interest till the end. Looking forward to the next book.

Great book

Just like book 1, I very much enjoyed this book 2 as well. Some scenes had me in tears, yet all in all this was an amazing story.
