I'm a mom. I have drama in my life. I don't want books with the F-bomb, nor graphic violence. I read for fun and to bring my family together. I read for reducing stress levels. We have never had a television in our home and our children are now mid twenties to 19. We listen together and look for belly-wrenching laughter. So what is it like to live without a TV? Awesomely educational and inspirational. Each new book is a marvel.

    "Twilight Zone classic style"
    Any additional comments?

This story is quick and true to the style of The Twilight Zone. It is hard to hear Lou Gossett Jr read this. It sounds like mumbling at times. I was glad that most of the time I listened in the house instead of in the car.

The story is sad and a bit creepy. I believe those are positive words for describing The Twilight Zone. HA!

    Story
    "Great sound, good story."

Written in the 50's but still an obvious base for the (terrible) movie "Real Steel". Story might actually do with a little cliché, but "Rocky" wasn't out in 1956...
Still, fantastic sound production, adequate acting and good story makes this a worthwhile listen.

    "a nice little radio play"

Good performances, good sound effects, a nice little radio drama about man's determination and love of competition.
