Good to fair series.

What made the experience of listening to Star Wars: Heir to the Empire (20th Anniversary Edition) the most enjoyable?

Lots of good & interesting parts. But those are to far apart. These books don't really have filler pards, but the story is thin at times.

Would you be willing to try another book from Timothy Zahn? Why or why not?

Ya. Over all its a good to ok series.

Which scene was your favorite?

When Luke fights the Master. I don't wana say any more & spoil it.

immersive.

flew threw this in less than a week. brilliant production. splendidly voice acted. great experience from start to finish.

Amazing

This book helped me view the story of episode seven in a whole new way.

Wow...

My gawd man I want more. You know it will not finish by the time you are in chapter 28 and things are heating up knowing it's not going to wrap up in 2x chapters.

A great story well told. The voice acting is superb. The main Characters sound like themselves. If you like star wars, you'll love this.

Would you listen to Star Wars: Heir to the Empire (20th Anniversary Edition) again? Why?

I defiantly will. It's just like watching the episode 7 and by that I mean it's feel like a movie and not a book. The sound effects and the voices made by Thompson, gives this audio-book a special feel to it.

I especial love the new character Talon Karrde. The "neutral" smuggler who have don't want to choose between the republic and the empire, but gets caught in the middle of it all. I really hope that they going to make the rest of the series like this book.

Really haven't listen/read that many books, so no.

What does Marc Thompson bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

The voices of the characters. He gets very close to the actors from the movie and he has some good voices for the new ones too. The music and effects also have to be included here because they are also a really important part of what makes this book better as a audio-book than me reading.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

The Empire strikes back yet again :P

Nothing short of Amazing!!

What made the experience of listening to Star Wars: Heir to the Empire (20th Anniversary Edition) the most enjoyable?

The voice work of Marc Thompson is amazing (with the exception of his Lando - which sounds more like a Plantation Owner than Gentleman).

Who was your favorite character and why?

Han Solo without a doubt. I've always been fond of the rouge.

Have you listened to any of Marc Thompson’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Many and as always Marc delivers the goods..

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

It was and I did!

Great sequel to the star wars saga

What did you love best about Star Wars: Heir to the Empire (20th Anniversary Edition)?

Great narration by Marc Thompson. Loved the sound affects. All the charcters voices were spot on, except Han Solo. This book really brought me in from the being and I loved it to the end. I am a average star wars fan also. So if you liked the movies you will also like this book.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Star Wars: Heir to the Empire (20th Anniversary Edition)?

It is a first book in a saga but yet it has a grand battle at the end.

Luke was spot on!

Empire has just started fighting back!!!

Classic; I Wish it was Canon!

This story blows the new age Disney writing out of the water. It introduces strong new villains and further feathers out characters that habe been close to our hearts since A New Hope. Decades later this story is still an amazing read (err, listen).

Amazing book and audio

The book plot was fantastic. A beautiful classic Star Wars novel. The audio for it was a uniquely delightful experience as well. Awesome narration, voices (especially C3-PO), music, background noses, sound effects even! I highly recommend this for anyone, especially if you have a long trip ahead of you.
