Shatner is brilliant as always

Wonderful book, classic Star Trek at its best. Willian Shatner does a brilliant job of bribing the story to life. Highly recommended for any Star Trek fan, young or old.

a good way to bring back captain Kirk.

at first I thought the story sounded weird considering the Borg and the romulans working together. the book actually is pretty is good and I like how they brought back Kirk . all in all not a bad Read.

Wish it had ALL the original actors.

As much as I enjoy hearing a Star Trek book read by William Shatner, I find that it can make it hard to follow the story. Especially while listening to it in the car. If you lose focus for a couple of seconds it can make it difficult to ascertain which character is speaking since they ALL sound like Kirk. Overall I enjoyed the story and regret that it will never see an on screen adaptation.

An engaging Star Trek story with a FLAWLESS audio performance from Shatner

The story picks up immediately after the film, Star Trek: Generations - giving it an already compelling start.

Shatner’s story is solid Star Trek, and moves a long at a fast pace.

It’s best attribute is by far Shatner himself, who gives a phenomenal audio performance (backed with great SFX production.)

I’m sure it’s great in paperback, but trust me when I say it’s worth listening to if possible.

Captain Kirk Will Never Die

A great novel that was written by William Shatner. He was able to bring Captain James T. Kirk to life and is now joined by Captain Juan Luc Picard and crew of the Late Starship Enterprise NCC-1701-D.

Great to see all back together.

I truly loved it!<br />The tie to V-ger was genius.

It brought together the old and new masterfully...and solve the question of the Borg origin. Well done!
