Huxley, a starship missing for over 10 years, the Enterprise stumbles over a forgotten colony of humans on a planet called Rampart - a world where fiction, speculation, and works of the imagination are considered the ultimate crime. A survey team from the planet beams on board the Enterprise to search for "contraband" materials - and suddenly the crew find themselves plunged into the middle of a murderous civil war between a determined band of rebels and the planet's ruthless mind police. "Just not really very good"

Jonathan Frakes is not a voice actor, and his voice is too distinctive and distracting when he is (poorly) imitating voices that are so well-known. It's a nice voice, just not one that works in this situation in my opinion.

And this is one of the lesser attempts at STNG fiction. Surprisingly, Tim Russ is a good narrator who subtly imitates the characters' voices. I'm listening to Genesis Wave and although it's not great literature it is enjoyable.
