What a way to start a series!

Wow, that was amazing! The storyline is fantastic, original and entertaining. The narrator has a great voice and inflection which made listening all the more enjoyable and I definitely can't wait to dive into book two now!

Awesome book. AWFUL narrarator.

I've never had to give up on an audiobook until this one. The narrarator is terrible. Seriously, couldn't follow it. It was so bad. She was very monotone.

So sad, because the book is good. The story is fun and funny.

I hadn't listened to any of Cynthia Holloway's other performances. At first I wasn't sure I liked the style of reading, but the story wouldn't have the same affect if she read it anyother way! I really liked it!

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I liked it enough to listen in one sitting, but didn't have the time to dedicate to a 11 hour and 10 minute listen! Perfect for a snow day!

Captivating

I love the series! Merit is the kind of woman we all want to be. Strong, loyal, feisty and loved.

What does Cynthia Holloway bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Cynthias Holloway brings a fantastic believablity to a brilliantly written book with the flexibility all the humor, suspense and drama her voice can bring. It's really a treat to have this narrator, as she really brings this book to life.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I had no extreme reaction except to smile at the humor in the book and gratitude for being offered this book at such an acceptable price. If not, I probably would have missed this book and missed the enjoyment this narrator and author deliver. Now I can't wait to follow thorugh with the rest of this series in the months to come. These books are like a breatlh of fresh air.

A new structure for the vampire genre

Where does Some Girls Bite rank among all the audiobooks you???ve listened to so far?

I have listened to some stellar books on audible. That said I would put this one above average . I didn't hop onto these books on release feeling tired of the vamp genre, but I have to say after the first book I did get each book of the series.

What does Cynthia Holloway bring to the story that you wouldn???t experience if you just read the book?

Stilted speech and mispronunciation, but better than her average reading

3.5 stars. It wasn't perfect, but it was definitely entertaining. I found myself having to stop and then looking forward to getting back to it so that's got to say something for it, right? And I'll definitely read the next. I want to see where this Ethan/Merit/Morgan thing is going. Hopefully the next book will be a little less talk and a lot more action, if you get my drift...

Audiobook review: This chicks voice is just this side of robotic. When it first starts, I could have sworn I was listening to the text to speech version on my Kindle and was feeling a little ripped off, but it gets (a little) better over the course of the book. Jeez lady, loosen up a bit
