Not a bad story
I'm not really into zombie stories but this one wasn't bad. It focused more on the people trying to survive than those getting attacked by the zombies. Not a bad story.

This worked out great.
What made the experience of listening to So Long, Lollipops the most enjoyable?
It is just a small sip of what you could get. It brought me up to speed quick and laid the story out so well that at the end of this short novella I felt like I knew the characters so well, I had to go for more of it.
Any additional comments?
I got this for free and finished it in one shot. As soon as it ended I was downloading the first in the series and looking forward to a long drive.

A subtle zombie story
I'm not into zombies, I don't watch any of the shows and I really don't like them. But, this book excerpt was free and I figured, "what the hey". I was pleasantly surprised. The dory really builds up the characters and its a transformation of who they were before zombies and how they're coming into their own in this different era. It's a story that has zombies.
I didn't rate it higher because, well, I still don't like zombies and some of the story build up is a little stale. Also, the book ends in the middle of a second story.

Voice Issues
I like zombie tales so the story was ok. my biggest complaint was when the female narrator attempts a male voice. I feel if you are going to change your voice for different characters you should use a different voice for each character not just different genders. I would have preferred her to use the same voice throughout the story otherwise.
