It's a fantasy story with a Native American feel. Not just the environment, but the storytelling. I don't even know where to start with reviewing this book -- it's so magical, a little dark, a lot hopeful, and love wins in the end. Magic, shapeshifters, curses, blessings...just go read it and then YOU try to describe it! :)
Danielle Daly has the perfect voice for this story. I hope to find other stories she's narrated!

Any additional comments?
Reading “Sister Raven”, a tale of simpler, mystical times, a girl's awakening to her own magical powers and her family's secret, is like walking from a thick forest into a clear, pastoral setting. Karen Levine's simple, clean, honest, narrative soothes, cleanses and re-invigorates. Danielle Daly's complements Ms. Levine's work admirably with a talented, thoroughly professional reading. Kudos to both of these women for their good work. A good piece for those of us who yearn for a simpler times.Good relaxing reading.
