Silver Moons, Black Steel follows Dion as she battles not only a hostile world, but even the wolves themselves: the Gray Ones, who seek to restore her presence; the brother searching for his Wolfwalker twin; her own people, who need her knowledge of the wolves to secure their future; and a distant warrior who, though he has never heard her name, is drawn toward her by an attraction beyond his ken. Dion must fight to safeguard the secrets of her world from forces that could change it forever.

I started reading and enjoying this series with the first three books. I enjoy science fiction and strong women, which was both indicated in the first three books.
For some reason, the author has changed the lead character, making her weak, indecisive, and unable to defend herself. Not what I was hoping for, nor expecting. I did not read book four because of the reviews, but thought this book would get back on track. Not so.
As it turned out, this was basically a love story, and not a science fiction, nor a strong woman.
