One of my personal favorite

I have enjoyed all of Patricia’s books, their some of my favorites. Who wouldn’t want to be a werewolf. At least one of Patricia’s kind. I always wanted something good for Sam as he is one of my favorite wolves. This one has a lot of action.

Good peoduction

Over all not bad but I was expecting a little at the end. Still love the series so far.

The ties that bond

Mercy is having difficulty with her bond with the pack. And of course someone is out to hurt too, as usual.

Sam is having problems of his own. (Recommend reading the novella 'Silver' in 'Shifting Shadows' prior to this novel)

All of this combines to harm those around her... Adam, the pack, even some of the humans.

But as always, Mercy will fight to protect those she deems as "Hers". Enjoy the roller-coaster ride that is the life of Mercy Thompson.

As always Lorelei King brings to life the world which Patricia Briggs has created.

The more iisten the more I can't stop. This series has me utterly enthralled. Kinda glad I decided to listen instead of read.

I love Patricia Briggs and all her books.

Faery Queens and rebellious Werewolves

Mercy and Adam have several situations involving dissension in the werewolf pack.
A Faery queen kidnaps Phineas Brewster looking for the Silver Borne, and his Fae grandmother Ariana comes to search for him. It just so happens that Mercy is holding on to a special book she borrowed from Phineas.
Sam is so despondent that he attempts to kill himself, so his wolf takes over. Mercy and Adam cover for Sam, hoping he comes back to himself, so he won’t have be killed. And isn’t Sam surprised back to himself when Ariana is a creature from his far past that he had tender feelings for.
King does a great job of narration.

love it

I loved it just like the rest of the series so far and can't wait for the next! I like not knowing what exactly is going to happen next even if it's not something I want to happen, never stops surprising me 😊

Always amazing plot lines with characters thst don't annoy the crap out of me! (Well except for Mary Jo)

her imagination and ability to thrill and enchant the reader is amazing. I love this series so glad a friend suggested them.

Good book. Mercy Thompson is a great heroine and I hope to have more of her books soon and much longer storyline.
