disappointed with really bad human interactions
This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?
This book should be revised! It has potential to be good but the weird violence and repetitive physical abuse from the female protagonist toward the male protagonist greatly detracts from overall story.
What do you think your next listen will be?
I will not be reading another Alex Hughes story. Too many really good books out there to waste time on an author who clearly has domestic violence issues.

Too much that annoys.
A few world things are interesting, but way too much that annoys. And not willing to list it all here.
As sexist as it sounds, I suspected the author was a woman before I heard she was. Just many patterns and assumptions, focus on certain details, etc. And even stylistic elements annoy like verbatim repetition of tons of world explanation from book 1 (feels lazy).
