Publisher's summary

The stunning conclusion to the Twilight War!

One of the Forgotten Realms world's most compelling villains - the Archwizards of Shade - have come down from their flying city with their sights set on the merchant realm of Sembia. They come in the guise of allies, but have invasion and empire as their ultimate aim.

The fate of Sembia may be sealed, but Erevis Cale still has a shocking destiny that will end in his destruction - if he's lucky. This trilogy brings about major changes to the Forgotten Realms setting.

Amazing!

Absolutely loved the entire Erevis Cale series, from the first three Twilight War books, to these last 3 and the incredible finish in this book, they are by far my favorite series in all the Forgotten Realms! I couldn't recommend a better read! And John Pruden is a phenominal narrator, he gives Cale and Riven and all the other characters the grittiness and dark undertones deserving of this dark fantasy series! Absolutely loved it! Wish he would narrate all the Forgotten Realms Novels!

First mega series I've listened to and couldn't st

If you could sum up Shadowrealm in three words, what would they be?

Epic. Internal. Struggle.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Erevis Cale - of course. After listening to the first trilogy and now this one, I wouldn't recommend anyone starting anywhere except the beginning. You just won't get the nuances. Start at the beginning of Erevis' story and you will love it all.

What does John Pruden bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

He is consistent with each character and his voice for Ferlinastis (sp?) the shadow dragon is the highlight of his performances.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

When Riven hands the juggle balls to Abalar's kid...

Loved it

Awesome end to an amazing trilogy. So much context for the saga so far and the last 25% of it was specifically designed to make you cry. You can't convince me otherwise.

A Phenomenal Ending To Story

The conclusion to this series and sorry it was over. Every scene was descriptive to give your imagination a clear perspective that practically puts you into the story. Listening 2 playthrus and counting.

Amazing Ending To An Amazing Trilogy

I didn't want it to stop and listened to it every chance I had. The Dritzz series is what got me into the forgotten realms & I've been listening ever since. I like Prudens storytelling and the characters in the twighlight trilogy. It's too bad the forgotten realms stories are on hold as of now.
