Great Story Concept!

I loved the story, itself. The sci-fi mystery premise really catches my attention. Add in the romance and it’s a hit!

It's been years since I listened this book but I remembered really liking it so I decided it was time to listen to the audiobook again. I love the idea of the modified group of hero's and that the government is afraid of what they created in these men. I love the physic abilities, that is why this series stands out above all the other special ops hero books.

I really enjoyed Lily and Ryland working together to get the team out of the wrong hands and to protect Lily after her what happens to her father. I loved all of that but what i could have done with out is the insta-love. I really can not get into a love that has no history and on that same note, there is nothing worse than a twenty something virgin heroine who gives up her virginity the first night, why hold on to it for that long then just give it up. That just doesn't work for me. Besides that, I love the plot and where the series is going on from here.

The narration was great. He does a great job with all the voices and different accents. It's always great to listen to someone that doesn't narrated every audiobook released.

Simply fabulous people. I am so loving the character in this series!

The psychic skills of the characters are fantastic!

His voice is great and all the characters have their own voice. I can see and hear them in my mind.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I laughed a lot and felt terrible for the victims of Lily's father!

I would say I enjoyed half of the time I spent listening to this series.

Leave out 95% of the raunchy sex and continue to develop the characters.

Yes, not my favorite however.

I purchased this entire series before listening to any of the books. It was a big mistake and a lesson learned the hard way. I read the description and saw "best selling author" and was not prepared for what I heard. Please read the reviews from others before spending your money. I loved HALF of each book; the actual Ghostwalker characters were appealing and their abilities interesting. If 95% of the nauseating, tiresome, and repetitive sex scenes had been replaced with additional story lines I'd be a huge fan. I felt like the author cheated by repeating the same sexual encounter over and over to fill out each book. I am not opposed to a bit of romance but these ad nauseam descriptions prompted me to perfect my ability to fast forward through the audiobook.

Fun listen.

Good reader and interesting plot. Maybe a little too much sex for some. Great rainy day book.

Great series

This is a great series. Each book can stand alone but I found it more enjoyable to read in order. I can't wait for the next one in the series (Ruthless Game) to come out. Tom Stechschulte as the narrator really enhances the story. I totally recommend this book and the rest in the series.

How Have I Missed This Gem?

I'm embarrassed to admit that I'm brand new to this older series. But having just run through Book One like the Grinch in Whooville on Christmas Eve, I am definitely in for the entire series. These GhostWalkers totally captured my imagination as well as my heart. This novel is reminiscent of a couple of series I've completely enjoyed by Rebecca Zanetti, a favorite author. The characters are deep and engaging, the plot is intricately woven with plenty of sub-plots and room to grow, and the romance is that breath-taking blend of intensely spicey with a nicely sweet edge. Whew! They're brewin' up more than just super soldiers in this lab, 'cause the chemistry is overwhelming!

Personally, you've just got to love a novel that has a cast of well-defined, hugely muscled, highly testosteroned super soldiers that try to hide their hearts with sarcastic banter. The audiobook is an extra treat with a narrator that offers up such a rich bass voice he often evokes the essence of a highly tuned performance car with a deep rumble that's rarely matched. It's positively swoony, and guaranteed to light a fire.

It's Okay

The storyline was pretty good. I'm not sure if it was the narration or the story that made it less enjoyable for me. At the beginning, the book seemed to drag and I had to force myself to keep reading. Eventually the story picked up the pace but it took a little while.

A Wonderful Series Ghost Hunters

This is my second time reading and listening to Ghost Hunters. I have read many of books from Christine Feehan . Each series bring their own story base. I can hardly stop listening. Thank you!
