Some great stories

Many of these stories where great. Some of them where just ok but over all I would recommend this to fans of sci fi and fantasy.

Excellent anthology - except one

I really enjoyed listening to the different stories in this anthology. My favorites were probably The Inn of Seven Blessings, The Lightning Tree, and The Rogue Prince, and Heavy Metal (in no particular order).

That said, I could not stand Now Showing. The main character is an incredibly slow-witted and shallow teenage girl that's obsessed with movies. In fact, probably 1/2 the story is just taking about what happened in old movies. Skip that one if you care for your sanity.

Good read

Worthwhile read but nothing amazing. I personally prefer longer stories I can invest in rather than shorts.

Great, except...

Neil Neil Gaiman’s contribution to this book was also included in the audiobook to which it is related. I sought this anthology out to hear more of his stories and I was disappointed that it was redundant content.

Connie willis’ contribution was a labor to listen to. I wish it wasn’t in this book.

Generally excellent

Whilst I did give up on 2 of the stories, overall they were excellent

Indeed one probably contains the funniest monologue written in the English language 👍

Some great. Some good. Some poor. Some bad.

I really liked some of these stories. Others were only okay. Unfortunately, a couple were poor because of the reader.

Hit or Miss

Some of these stories are very compelling and draw you in. Others are just meh or are hard to follow in such a short time.

Get lost....

Each story enables one to lose themselves in a world of wonder and adventure!
I wish the chapters were not just numbered but had the titles & authors names. That's my only complaint.
