Another Great Listen!
I don't want this series to end! So glad I have one more book to look forward to, and happy that I've discovered another author that I enjoy. This book was fast paced, and unfortunately over all to soon. The narrator was especially good!!

Sullivan might be my favorite Author!
I mistakenly took the second half of Theft of Sword as a filler book. My apologies to Mr. Sullivan. There is no such thing as filler in this series and there is something to love for everybody in this series. From sailing the seas, to politics in a grand hall, to romance and love, to gladiator fights and open field battles, this series has it all. We're learning more about the characters pasts and their possible futures. I can't wait for book #3!
As for Rise of Empire. Like book 1 it's broken into 2 parts. Nyphron Rising is about understanding the characters in the series. From Hadrian's childhood training and his presumed role in the world to Royce's struggles with love and friendship to Arista's desire for something more. In the end though, the first half is kind of a love story, but also has the characters desperately hanging on to anything and everything of their current lives. The second half, The Emerald Storm, you get to go on this incredible adventure where we really get a grasp on who the characters actually are and the world that Sullivan has created.
This might be the best book series I've ever read/listened too. The book, the world, and the narration are all high class. I would pay more than a credit if they asked me too for book 3.
Shout out to Myron! Might be my favorite character ever!
