As good as Vol 1
Generally, I find that subsequent volumes of successful books are not as good as the initial offering. However, this one breaks the pattern, and is at least as good as the first! Can't wait to see if Vol 3 meets the same high standard!

The adventure continues

An enjoyable continuation of Riyria Revelations.
The I was hooked by the first volume and this second volume didn’t disappoint with the continued adventures, plot twists and narrow escapes of Royce and Hadrian. This volume certainly ends with the plots of the evil empire appearing triumphant. Book number three is downloading as I write.
