Indian Hill 2: Reckoning starts where the first book in the series left off. After escaping from the Progerian Alien vessel, Michael Talbot is now given the opportunity to hide in obscurity with the rest of the human race or rise to the occasion and once again find himself immersed in a battle that he wants nothing to do with.
Mike goes home and while reconnecting with a family that believed him dead he decides to join whatever resistance force can be mustered to repel the oncoming invasion. As the world of man gets thrust towards the abyss of extinction, two women in love with the same man make a desperate bid to travel across the country to reunite with him.
Mike will suffer the ultimate betrayal from those he loves the most. Will mankind fall and be ground to dust like so many other civilizations or will the tiny humans thwart a takeover? Only time, and shed blood will tell.

1*=I didn't like it..... 2*=It was OK...... 3*=It was good but I will never read it again.......... 4*=Maybe I will read it again in the future.............. 5*=I will definitely read it again(maybe more than once)
The story went down hill but it's still worth your time and credit.
Let's hope that ending will fix it all.
Story line had potential but... The Author has no concept of large scale action, strategy, combat or anything else that would have made these books readable. The story lines go from allowing the Characters to mature to reverting to stupid beyond belief and nothing is consistent. First there are millions of aliens with 200 plus iQs on an indestructible ship then only thousands of stupid incompetent lizards.
DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME
I've read or listened to almost all of Marc Tufo's stuff, having more Mike Talbot, who is just a great character, is absolutely fantastic.
Mike Talbot. He's got a great wit. He's strong. He thinks beyond himself even while he's broken and in pain. In these books, he is kinda like a super hero, standing up against the aliens and those who chose to use the situation to bring out their worst. In the grans scheme, it really is the adverse moments that show humanity, not the perfect peace times.
Sean is consistent. His voice is great and his capturing of characters is inspired.
Aliens, welcome to earth. Aliens, Meet Mike Talbot.
I have probably read about a dozen Mark Tufo books, and in general I like them very much. For this one, where the major story is an alien invasion, we seem to talk about most everything OTHER than the aliens. This reads more like Zombie Fallout then it does a book about aliens. I mean, seriously, do we have to have the "humans turn crazy and mean" and then spend half the book on that?
I won't read the rest of this serious. I am a big Mike Talbot fan, but this series is just silly.
Great narration. Love his voice. He IS Mike Talbot. Just give him a better script.
Great narration. Mike Talbot is great. Too bad this book didn't have very much Michael Talbot.
Mr. Tufo, I think one reason so many of the scenes in this book sound like the scenes in your other books is because you have too many series going on and can't keep them all straight. Quality, not quantity.
I would recommend this book to anyone
I didn't think I would enjoy the indian Hill Series, but thought I would give it a try because I enjoyed the Zombie Fallout series so much. I was pleasantly Surprised that I enjoyed it just as much as the zombie Fall out series. Mark Tufo is a talent writer and Sean Runnette is a great narrator.
Tell us about yourself! I work for UPS(driver) i like to have a good book in my ear during the day. Audible books make the day go by...
Its a great second book to the series. Mark likes a good cliffhanger. If you gives this book a try you will have to get the third book. Mark really shows how terrible humans are in the story line. In some points in the book I feel like we are no better that are foes. But not all is last are good humanity will shine in the end......
The best part of this book is how Mark shows us the way humanity turns in the aftermath of an alien invasion...Not our proudest moment..
Sean performance is pretty good. I hear an accent, maybe he is doing on purpose.Overall I enjoy.
To win you have to let go of a little humanity
Yes if on special, Book 1 was a great and total story .. Book 2 is an attempt to milk money from the series it is not a whole story it is really half a book only.
have it as a self contained story
story was good but a lot more predicable
I'm a Registered Nurse. I've been an avid reader all my life. I love Audible books. I'm able to enjoy books and still keep busy!
Yes, this series is very adventurous and Funny !!
I like Mike's adventures and Paul's Determination to save him or Get Vengance !
Sean is a narration God
The Bowery boys meet Alien
Love this series ! will buy any Tufo and anything else in this series
I have. And I'm working on my third go round in case there's something I missed
Mike, of course. But I like Tracy better in this series. And now I know why Paul was eaten (SPOILER) by cats in the ZF books
I love Sean Runnette's performance. To me, he is the voice of Mike. But sorry, dude. Jim Dale is my most favorite. Otherwise, you are the man!
I did not listen to Indian Hill books before the ZF, but with nothing better to do (meaning I finished the ZF and now LF), I downloaded all 4 when the 4th came out because Mark Tufo has to jump back and forth between the two! People avoided me for days because I would growl at them when they disturbed my listening time...
Mark Tufo: WRITE THE NEXT BOOK IN THIS SERIES, ZOMBIE FALLOUT, AND LYCAN FALLOUT....PLEASE!!!!!
I usually don't write a negative review because I feel the author has worked hard to do something most of us have never done -and that is to publish a book. But this book really needs to come with a warning. The first of the series wasn't as bad as this one. What do I mean by bad? I felt that this was a filler book that was written quickly for no other reason but to make it a three book series. The writing and events are all over the place. There is sometimes no reasoning for the characters actions. It was as if everyone in the story was bipolar and without their meds for too long. One minute a character would be feeling one way and the next a complete different without anything that could have provoked such a change. I found myself not relating to anyone because they were all so paper thin. The writing is overloaded with cliched dialogue. The author clearly doesn't understand the way the military works. My only emotion was that I found myself feeling sorry for the narrator. I was not able to complete this book. I've read, or listened to, hundreds of books, and I can say without any doubt that this one was by far the worst in every way possible.
"Wow, what a story."
Yes, its a great book.
All other Mark Tuffo's works
Even though he is a Yank, he reads very well, he can fall into the wide range of characters very easily. He delivers sarcasam very well.
The whole thing really.
The hero Mike Talbot and the humour and danger all the way through the book
Mike Talbot so funny even in terrible positions.
Got this book straight after IH1 and enjoyed it as much maybe a bit more, really enjoy the story and also character development vs the same characters in a different reality in Zombie Fallout series
I am a massive fan of Mark Tufo's books. I The Indian Hill series is another great story. I loved the Zombie Fallout series and this adds another dimension to Mike Talbot's life.
Mark keeps you engaged with the story and always makes you want to read more. This book goes deeper into Mike's experience on the ship and really digs deep into his personality.
A must for all Mike Talbot fans.
