One of the Most Exciting Books of the Decade
Ready Player One is a very clever and exciting book. The characters are complex and grow within the story, the stakes are high and Ernest Cline does a great job at building tension. Wil Wheaton's performance as reader is terrific. His voice matches the story perfectly and helps add to the overall enjoyment of the experience. Though there are a few parts where the author decides to interject his own personal feelings about particular subjects in a thinly veiled way, they don't overpower the rest of his writing.
