Awesome book!!!!

This book has a great story.... I loves all the 80's/90's nostalgia.... It had a little bit of everything, including action, love, comedy, and science fiction.... I have not had this much fun listening to a story in a long time.... I hope when they adapt it into a movie, that the movie does it justice.... but it probably won't.....

This was a wonderful book. I enjoyed every single second. And Wil Weaton did a great job.

great story

It was a great story but some parts seemed to drag on. overall it made me very excited for the movie.

I doubt I'll listen to the book again though.

Very entertaining

This book was very interesting due to the fact it was mostly about the creators childhood memory's although not much detail is given on some things but it is understandable because if they did detail it I would either be bored due to it or most likely surprised

The Gaming parts
Well overall in my opinion getting up everyday just to play a video game would be boring but due to the possibility the game gives I would be happy and spend a lot of time on it if I wasn't playing anything else at a home

1900s games

Even tho I wasn't born at the time most video games listed I still played some of the popular ones like pacman Halifax (excuse the bad spelling if it's wrong) overall I was happy to learn stuff from before my birth


Overall it was worth the credit

Storyline: excellent. Great pace, great descriptions of the environment. Sadly plausible.

Wil Weaton does a fantastic job with pace, tone - and there were a couple of occasions him doing the audio was very meta :)

Great concept

I really enjoyed the concept behind this book and loved how it played out in the end. The language was a bit rough for my taste. Overall a great book

I loved it. some of the twists were predictable and the narration was flat at times but it didn't stop me from enjoying the intense and at time very funny story.

Unreal !!!!

The Most memorable exciting audio read I have ever experienced. No book compares to the history, future depictions and outright action that a gamer from the 80's can have. Not only does it suck you right in but wow how you can connect with all of your favorite classics!

Amazing

I'm not a huge reader, and generally stick to movies but after countless recommendations I finally caved and bought this book.

I decided to choose the audio format so I could listen to and from work. This quickly turned into me listening every chance I could get until I finished the book. Between the authors ability to paint a perfect picture and Wheaton's ability to perform with vocal excellence, I was hooked. I highly recommend this book to anyone looking for a good fantasy and a new addiction.

I have been on audible since darn near the very start. Many books over many years. Never has a book so quickly captured my attention and kept me glued until the end.
Will Wheaton does a fantastic job narrating and I found myself able to personally relate to a myriad of instances within the storyline.
