OMG AMAZING

This book, made me absolutely speechless. The story and each segment never made me want to never stop. I recommend this book to ANYONE that wants to get reading. AMAZING!

very engaging

The amount of references of pop culture is stunning and Will Weatons performance kept me engaged and listening to every moment to the point i needed to take breaks. I've read the book too and I am very pleased with the book and this audio book.

WOW!

My favorite thing to do while reading this book was too Google a lot of the eighties references and look at pictures of the games and monsters that were being described in the book.

The book has a few seconds so rich in detail that slow down the story but they definitively add a richness to this world that you absolutely believe in all of it. Even the absurd become believable and makes you wish you could log into the Oasis and play along with Perzival on his hunt for the egg.

Nerd wish fulfillment in its finest.

wheaton gives a great performance reading the book despite not changing his voice much. The world building is pretty solid and the only real drawback is that the world doesn't get fixed.

Couldn't stop listening

Beautifully written and wonderfully read by Mr. Weaton. A very possible,horrific, future where the only escape from the hellish life of everyone on the planet is a video game. 80s references for days, and pop culture at its finest.

A truly fun ride

What about Wil Wheaton’s performance did you like?

Wil did a great job. Knowing he is a gamer and genre fan as well as an entertaining actor, I expected to enjoy his performance. What I did not expect was to get drawn totally into his narration so that I totally left the real world and dropped into Cline's rollercoaster!

Any additional comments?

There are many great reviews already that cover all the bases. My advise is to download the book and start listening, preferably with a large block of time available because you will not want to stop!

Flavor in your ear

Fantasy, sci-fi, “in the not so distant future,” a hero protagonist rises from a mumdunely depressing life to fight against the Big Evil.
Ready Player One has all the ingredients to be an amazing book!
You will not be disappointed.

Great Book on the 80s

When it comes this book its a great start to how the book will end. 4/5 of the books is really good but there is one part that is really boring and just a plot devise to get to the end of the battle. Wade is a interesting character who fall in love with someone who he never met but in the end the Quest to fine the Keys and the Eggs that is some where in the games become a major focus. He gain allies and help throughout the series who become his core friends but is in danger of being killed by a powerful cooperation.

BEST BOOK EVER!!!!!

I have listened to this book 8 times and it still is exciting every time!
