Will Wheaton brings author Ernest Cline's story to life. A combination of the Wizard and Lord of the Rings with Blade Runner and Mad Max for good measure.

If you had an Atari 2600 at home, you will enjoy

An exciting sci-fi thriller about a kid taking on his world in the not so distant or unbelievable future. Remembering running home from school to play the Atari 2600 with my brother as a kid, this book was an entertaining listen made even more enjoyable being read by Wil Wheaton. With so many 80's cultural references, there seems to be something in this story for every gen-x-er.

This book definitely made me stand up and think about the world around, how immersion tech can be great for us, but also perhaps our demise. Great story line and thought provoking content

Outstanding

Being an avid immersion game book reader I was intrigued with this book. And without realizing it when I purchased the book that it was narrated by Will Wheaton. Enjoying his performance in Star Trek Next Generation and then his occasional cameos on The Big Bang Theory, he added another level of interest in this book. The characters are very interesting and the detail description allows full immersion in the story. I plan on seeing the movie and hope that they are able to do it justice. I’m sure if you get a copy of this you’ll find it extremely entertaining.

This is my first audible review. I was hesitant to buy this one, as it isn't my typical style, but I enjoyed every moment.
