A gripping new fantasy series by USA Today best-selling authors Jaymin Eve and Leia Stone.
Arianna is a queen heir and at 20 years old she's now eligible for the crown of wolf shifters. Heirs are trained and groomed so that they're ready should the queen perish during their time of eligibility.
Of course, there's little chance of that happening. The Red Queen has stood for a century, and her power is beyond reckoning.
Or so Arianna believes, right up until the final tolling of the bells. The queen has fallen. Four heirs will now fight it out for the crown.
Let the summit begin.

Book Addict and a Fantasy Fanatic!
I'm not really sure how to describe this book... it's not bad. But when you are a fan of the Mercy Thompson or Jane Yellowrock series it puts a damper on shifter series that don't give you the minute details.
It feels like the authors first book. It brings to mind something my high school teachers would say, "You have a good outline, now fill in the details." This book feels like that. it's a good outline for a story but without the small details it's hard to really care about this characters. plus the main character comes across as arrogant to me. She is perfect in every way. It's a bit annoying.
Deep in a book...
this first book ended abruptly and i can't really say if i love it or not. the characters did not develop much in their relationships or otherwise, but i can see the groundwork happening. I will read the second book just because im curious and it has peaked my interest.
I have been happily married for 17 years, I have 3 children (12, 14, & 16), and 2 dogs. I am currently working on a 2nd degree. Life is chaotic and stressful, but I wouldn't change it. I am blessed and enjoying my life.
The plot was interesting and narrator was excellent, but I felt like half of the book was a lecture! If you compile all of the actual conversations, it would all fit into one chapter. This may be because of the world building that occures at the beginning of a series, am not sure. I am hoping that the next book has more actual dialog. So overall I'm willing to spend another credit on the 2nd book.
this book was well thought out great character building World building the Touch of Romance and it did have was amazing in wholehearted true depth the characters in the story line can't wait for the new to come out on Audible
I'm a huge Jaymin eve fan & love the supernatural prison series & I was really excited to start this new adventure! It did not disappoint! It reminds me a little of the fever series by Karen Moning with the powerful deadly fae as the big bad. But no one can deliver shifter characters so real, the politics & powers, the traitors it's a well rounded trip!!
What a fun & enchanting book from two of my favorite authors. The story opens with a bang and never slows down. Well developed characters in an engrossing new world! Voice narration is spot on two! I highly recommend this title!!
