When Captain Justin Thorn is hired to transport equipment and supplies to a mining colony on the moon, he knows it could be dangerous. He doesn't expect that someone will try to kill him. When they arrive on the moon, Thorn and his crew discover a shocking secret that could jeopardize all life on earth. On their return trip they find that their ship has been sabotaged, leaving them unable to return to Earth without burning up in the atmosphere. Trapped in orbit and with time and air running out, they attempt a daring maneuver that could save their lives, if it doesn't get them all killed.

Theo Hollands ability to bring the characters to life.
Re-entry into the atmosphere.
The versatility of his narration that made each character come alive as different people.
I very much enjoyed the audio version, have not read the print version.
Good plot, engaging characters. A good science fiction novel with a Western/adventure feel.
Hard to describe without giving away the plot. I did enjoy several scenes describing the teamwork on the crew returning to Earth.
Yes, I went through it in a few sittings.
A rollercoaster of an adventure you won't soon forget. Keeping you on the edge of your seat, Ken Cressman makes you feel as though you are right there with each of the characters in this non stop, wild and exciting undertaking.
The clever plan used to get back to earth after their spacecraft was disabled.
Theo Holland brings this story to life with his multitude of voice characterizations. He made it much more engaging and entertaining than if I had just read the book. Very well done!
Yes....Mainly because this story kept you on the edge of your seat and you couldn't wait to see what was coming around the next corner.
If you're looking for a story that is well written, extremely entertaining, and has excellent narration, then you have just found it.
Yes, I would, because I felt like "I was" Justin Thorne, & continually wanted to see if the character in the book would approach the various problems the same way I would.
Not necessarily a book, but it reminded a great deal of the series "Firefly".
I have listened to several of the books he recorded for "Sight Into Sound", & each production gets better.
Beware who you work for! Things aren't always as they seem.
The story grabbed me from the start. I really cared about the characters. The voice over work was flawless. Can't wait for more Justin Thorne adventures!
