Revenge and resurrection in a frozen wasteland!
Drizzt and Catti-brie have been away from Mithral Hall for six long years, but the pain of a lost companion still weighs heavily on their strong shoulders. Chasing pirates aboard Captain Deudermont's Sea Sprite is enough to draw their attention away from their grief. Then a mysterious castaway on an uncharted island sends them back to the very source of their pain, and into the clutches of a demon with vengeance on his mind.

Hello, My name is Levi Brousseau. I'm on a life long mission to find stories that blow my mind.
Every story so far has been wonderful. This book does not disappoint. this story just adds depth to the Epic that is Drizzt.
All characters Victor does pulls me right in. As always V.B. does a great job.
Light shines even in the darkest of depths.
Drizzt is the Shizzt. Even if this is your first story about Drizzt, It will you leave you wanting more. check it out.

Say something about yourself!
it is a pretty good book with harkell harpell, some scenes resembling pirates of the carribeans`s warship battles and ghosts.(this book was written way before).a good book in the drizzt legacy series.really looking forward to the hunter`s blades trilogy and others i missed.
Another entertaining book in the series. I look forward to the next series. I still don't like all the story line concerning Drizzt and his ideas about how life works, but that is par for the course. I would still recommend Salvatore's books.
Audible allows me to take a vacation not just to exotic places but to exotic galaxy's and realms. for that I am thankful. this is app #1.
full of twists and turns when I think of Salvatore I think of an epic writer I don't think of an author who writes cliffhangers and trust me you'll never guess the end of this one.
No. The first half was really hard to get through
He is awesome. I love the inflections he puts on he voice for the various characters.
Loved the performance as per usual. The story was not as great as its prequels but it was a good wrap up of the story so far and a somewhat logical progression. Excited the start the next installment.
I knew that wulfgar (the barbarian) could not have died and it took 2 books to bring him back... I think that was a big mistake. As I progressed I kind of lost interest in the story. Plus with development between drizzt and catti-bri it turned story into somewhat of a drama and friendship into an awkward one... This is probably going to be my last one
Great Story! Great Characters! Needs more Pickle though hahahahahaha!
But still great books onto the next one!
"a true great"
a truly memorable story I can not wait to get the next book a true great
