Yes, I have recommended to almost everyone I have talked to recently. I have all of my children reading the series 13, 20 and 26. I think even my 7-year-old granddaughter would love these books.
As in each book the reader gets a more in depth understanding of each character. While each book does stand alone Julie adds a little to each character with each additional book. While this book is focused on Nadia, I am left really wondering about Dustin. Loving Danielle more. And giggling and scared for what Jillian is going to get herself into next.
The part I really liked in this book is the end and Jillian's mother's letter to Dr. S. I will let you read/listen to it yourself but it really describes a mother's love.
I love audiobooks because I can go about my day and still listen, but I love Kristin in particular because she takes narration above what I have been used to in other books. I have previously said this in other reviews but I always feel as if every character is reading their own part, it does not sound like the same person is reading.
On a scale of 1-10 I would says this one was a 7 or 8. Couldn't wait to get back to the story each evening but did not keep me up all night because I just couldn't put it down.
