    "Cows vs. Vampires"

Another wacky adventure with Skeeve and Aahz. Dimension hopping, encounters with a sneaky shape shifter, cows, and vampires are all part of their dilemma. Robert Asprin has a fun sense of humor.

"Great return to a great series!"

Finally, after a few books centered on Skeeve's efforts at self discovery, a return to the kind of book writing that made the series worthwhile in the first place!

Listen mostly to urban fantasy and suspense/thrillers but also enjoy mysteries, sci-fi, fantasy, romance, adventure, classic, modern, spiritual or general literature. And I always like a bit of romance in any of my stories.

    Story
    "Really book 3.5"

The author wrote this book after an extended hiatus from writing the series as a way to recapture his feeling for these characters. So even though it is the eleventh book written it takes place between books 3 and 4 since he considered this a simpler time frame to write about. While he does manage to recapture most of the personality's of Skeeve, Aahz and Tananda the story itself causes some slight discontinuity with the other books. It was intended to be a simpler story than the twelfth book, again to help him get back into the series. As such there are fewer characters and fewer twists and turns along the way. The interactions of Skeeve with the other characters in the book are fairly simple and his development as a leader shown as the series progresses is not seen in this book. The tone of the book is also somewhat darker than in the other books of the series with talk of genocidal warfare and generally more talk of death. Skeeve also seems more harsh in his judgments than in other similar situations in the other books. Still, the story is entertaining enough that I would not recommend skipping it. I simply do not consider it one of the best in the series.

    "Loving this series..."
If you could sum up Myth-ion Improbable in three words, what would they be?

    A deeper adventure

What did you like best about this story?

I liked that this was a more complex plot than the first three in the series. Chronologically this book comes 4th, even though it was written 11th. I throughly enjoyed the first three books and was ready for the slight change of pace.
