Publisher's summary

Return to New York Times best-selling author Anne Bishop’s "phenomenal" (Urban Fantasy Investigations) world of the Others - where supernatural entities and humans struggle to co-exist, and one woman has begun to change all the rules.…

After winning the trust of the terra indigene residing in the Lakeside Courtyard, Meg Corbyn has had trouble figuring out what it means to live among them. As a human, Meg should be barely tolerated prey, but her abilities as a cassandra sangue make her something more.

The appearance of two addictive drugs has sparked violence between the humans and the Others, resulting in the murder of both species in nearby cities. So when Meg has a dream about blood and black feathers in the snow, Simon Wolfgard - Lakeside’s shape-shifting leader - wonders if their blood prophet dreamed of a past attack or a future threat.

As the urge to speak prophecies strikes Meg more frequently, trouble finds its way inside the Courtyard. Now, the Others and the handful of humans residing there must work together to stop the man bent on reclaiming their blood prophet - and stop the danger that threatens to destroy them all.

Was so happy to see book two!

I was very happy to see that Anne Bishop wrote another book on this amazing story of a young girl name Meg who's life is guarded by the others, a strange new storyline of a possible new world, where wolves , bears and the elements can become human and befriend a very real human with very special abilities ! I hope there's more!

Love at first bite... lol

I LOVE this series. I'm supposed to have audiobooks for when I drive long distances, but I find myself making extra trips just so I can finish the book.

I enjoyed the story but dragged in places, I just wanted the writer to hurry up and get to next part, but only in a couple of places.
Really enjoy this author.

I am hooked on the characters of the novel

Would you consider the audio edition of Murder of Crows to be better than the print version?

I think listening is so much easier. I can do dishes, laundry, make meals all while listening. Not possible and not as entertaining to read it.

Who was your favorite character and why?

The main character is the easiest for me to relate to. She's not perfect, she doesn't always do what I think she should, but that is the point of a story.

What about Alexandra Harris’s performance did you like?

I think she did a great job with the many characters in this novel.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

There were a few times that I listened longer than I planned, but no late nights.

Any additional comments?

Currently the rest of the series is not available in audible.

good listen, enjoy the story and the characters

I enjoyed the story and the characters. there are many characters, but not enough to overwhelm things. I will be picking up the next book, curious about how things will develop now that Meg is free.

Really good with lots of suspense and compassion

This series keeps developing and adding new twists and characters and yet clearly manages to hold the overarching theme of prejudice and human entitlement and intolerance and how this can breed war. Add in the slowly developing friendship between Meg and Simon and all its complexities - so subtle and endearing. Fascinating - all of it.

Alexandra Harris continues narrating wonderfully.
