"Douglas Adams is a terrific satirist....He is anything but harmless." (The Washington Post Book World)
"Hitchhiker fans rejoice!...[Here's] more of the same zany nonsensical mayhem." (The New York Times Book Review)
I'm a Cardiac Anesthesiologist with two college aged children. I used 2 check my kid's books for appropriateness & now enjoy those books 2.
Hitchhiker is just plain fun. I loved the series when i was young. I read it in college, and again in Med school, and again when i started reading for pleasure again, and now I am going to listen to them all.
I cannot wait. I just wish Douglas was alive for more, but I am about to read Coffer's installment (or try) for a 6th book in the series.
it is known that this book is a little rougher than the others. I really loved it though. it's funny and insightful right from the begining. Martin Freeman continues to give an award winning performance (as he did for the other 3). This book keeps you hanging on the edge of your seat always wanting more. If you are a fan of the series it is a must read!
The series continues to entertain at high level and has yet to disappoint. I wish it were a TV series.
Likely the best written of Adams' novels, prepare yourself for the dark ending. Tight plot, excellent pacing, and truly a bummer. Loved Freeman's acting, would like to hear his candid opinions on Adams' work outside of the publicity he did for the movie.
Gluten and Dairy Free
Douglas Adams, wonderful and witty as usual. Space gets infinitely more exciting when things are happening in parallel dimensions.
