The US Government's Paranormal Branch has learned Missy's secret and followed most of her activities. They have her FBI friend join their team, telling him that other supernaturals also exist but Missy is the only female werecat. They want Missy to go on to West Point and tell him that "being a vigilante is not what we want for this girl."
But, what had started out as her simply trying to help protect another teenage girl eventually led to her being targeted by both the East Boston and New York criminal organizations. With some help from her FBI friend, she copes with crime bosses while finishing high school and starting out at West Point. She also gets some help from her new friends at West Point but makes some enemies there as well.
Even with all this help and her enhanced senses, Missy sure has her work cut out for her!

This quick paced enjoyable audiobook is defiantly an 18 plus read due to its explicit sexual content. Even though I had not read the first in the series, I had no problem following the storyline as the author did a good job of filling the reader in on any relevant aspects from the first book. Missy the Werecat has graduated from high school and started her military training. Her life is progressing well; she has gained more control over her powers and is even developing a few new ones, Mike and her have bonded (hence the sexual scenes) and she is flourishing well at West Point. Missy is a caring, intelligent, tough character who isn't afraid to fight to protect those she cares for. She copes well when she discovers that a special branch of the Government know she is a shifter and is able to enlist their help in dealing with the Mob. Mike is Missy's human boyfriend, he is exceedingly understanding and supportive and the chemistry between him and Missy is great, but sometimes the sex scenes are too long and overpower the storyline rather than add to it. Her adventures at West Point are enjoyable and the friends she makes are appealing and interesting. The narration was well done and it fit the story well. I received this audiobook from the author in exchange for an honest review.
Audio books are growing. I have listened to books for months now, But I prefer my books in paperback/hardback format.
Its similar to the first book to the series.
I received this book from the author in exchange for a fair review
I love the way the books are written it makes you feel for the character and as if it is a real person
The story line and that it leaves you wanting more
So so okay
It makes me laugh and cry depending of the part of the book
Great story you will get caught up in it. I read the whole series in less then a week. Cannot wait for more.
This story is ten hours and forty six minutes of listening. I was in about chapter eight before West Point was mentioned. The story twisted around several encounters with mobsters Missy finding and discovering her mate and the ability that he has that makes her stronger. You also discover she is a high school senior yet has done many things that a thirty year old would do. Why because she is a shifter and also another paranormal. Although she does not discover this second talent until around chapter twenty four. She reveals herself to her family and they take it in stride. Her parents obviously know what she is. Perhaps if I had read the first book I would have a better sense of the back story. This is a good listen although rather long and winding. She is smart, talented, loving, kind, and a strong person who does not allow anyone to mess with her family or friends.
When she finally gets to West Point she turns out to be perfect and helps her squad to be perfect without trying to take the credit. Other people are the ones who get the credit for what she does although she is a typical teenager and does some bragging and strutting and showing off. She does it in such a way that she endear herself to others rather than upsetting them. She makes enemies at West Point but these are guys who don’t want women in the Academy anyway so not matter what she does they would not like her.
The book ends with you knowing that there will be another one. The last part speed up quickly after dragging for ten hours the last forty six minutes are swiftly paced.

Such a fun book! I could hardly put it down. I have not listened to the first book but I'm looking forward to getting it as well so I can learn more background information on Missy and Mike.
Wow! Being a werecat would be so awesome! This is my first book about a cat shifter but I really loved it.

I was very pleased when I got the chance to review the first book in this series, Missy the Werecat. It was a really pleasant surprise and very different than any other paranormal shifter tales I had come across. So I was thrilled to have the opportunity to review this installment as well. Missy is back and carrying on her dream of going to West Point Academy and is just as smart and sassy, and fun and funny as in the previous book. I once again found myself fully engaged in Missy's story and spent the entire night listening. Kudos to both the author and the narrator who both once again made this a terrific experience. I was gives a complimentary copy of this audiobook for an honest review and can't wait to see what Missy gets up to next.
I have MS and LD and make spelling and grammar mistakes, please forgive the handicap.
Missy goes to West Point was as amazing as the first and Missy seems amazing with her powers but the writer fails to find flaws with Missy, making her character less somehow, Superman has hits kryptonite for a reason, Sherlock his Dr Watson. Missy needs a Watson or some kryptonite.
In this sequel to the first book, Missy makes more friends, goes to West Point, learns something peculiar about herself, and has to deal with the mob.
There were interesting twists in this story and the author did a good job developing the plot as well as her characters more from the first book.
Overall, this was a quick and easy read or audio.
Once again, Meghan Kelly did well with the narration.

"Quick pace and very enjoyable"
I enjoyed it. The focus of the story is very much on Missy and how she is developing as a person, and it's great.
The increasing social circle and personal growth of Missy
I like the way she deals with the mob
Missy is a great character. A nice person that wants to help people, causing her to run into trouble. The book feels like getting to know her so it's hard to pick one thing about it.
