"War is coming, and Monk does an outstanding job ratcheting up the tension and danger, keeping both characters and readers on a knife's edge." (RT Book Reviews)
I enjoyed the book overall but the narrator sounds different. I'm not quite sure why when it says it is the same one. but the still has the great sorry I've come to expect.
I had completely given up on the series since Monk's publisher didn't release audio for so long! So worth the wait and the two final books gave me a reason to re-listen to the series start to finish.
Hopefully, the two books about Shame and Terric make it to Audible one of these days!
