    "MMMMM WOW..."

Of all the brothers I was most excited to see where John Matthew headed, I knew he loved Xhex and always knew her issues where going to be hard to bare, but darn if the young boy alone all his life knew the right moves, He is passionate, loving, strong and one of the kindest brothers, I thought Rev's was my favorite, but JM moved him over lol... This is a spellbounding series, long listening, action packed, nerve racking, sexy, I was sad when it was over, I felt I left my friends behind :(...

It powerful!!!! Jim Frangione voice is hipnotic, strong, soft, sexy, passionated, angry, and humble...
Thank you for a great series....

"IM IN LOVE WITH THE BROTHERHOOD!"

OMG this is one of the best series I have read. Twilight pales in comparison to these novels. JR Ward brings a wonderful twist to vampires. I also love the masculine characters she has created and the awesome sense of humor she gives each character. I love the story line from start to finish. I am craving more more more after I am done. I cant wait for the next series. It draws you in from the very first book to this book 8 it is awesome!

    "One of the Best"

I find it amazing how J R Ward can continually put out an outstanding novel even after EIGHT! Usually the storyline begins to thin and repeat and suffer after a few books but LOVER MINE is outstanding. Great characters as always, fabulous story line and I enjoy some tears and alternate laugh out loud moments!
Jim Frangione is PERFECTION with his narration! I couldn't imaging a better choice! He is perfect in all ways as he brings me to the world of the Black Dagger Brotherhood! If Jim ever stopped narrating I would read it myself not listen to the audio so...keep it going Jim! THANKS!

I've always been a avid reader so now I'm a avid listener. I prefer the paranormal genre but I do like to switch things up. It's boring if you don't have variety. Of course I do love the romance and the hotter the better. Also, you can't beat a good thriller filled with suspense and a ending you can't even guess at until the very end.

    "John Matthew"

John Matthew finally gets his girl. The one thing I do enjoy about this series is the continuing story of most of all the BDB characters. We keep riding along on this wave of intrigue, danger and lust. One book rolls right into the next and it's just awesome. It's a no brainer why I have to come back to this series and visit my favorite characters.

The story line as always is fantastic... the recording/reader has to many gaps... the pause between the chapters and half way through certain areas makes me think something is wrong with my Ipod. Whom ever did the piecing together of the story/recording .. YOU suck.
    J R ward you rock.

"J.R.Ward sucks you in and leaves you wanting more!"

I was hooked with the first book and I just get drawn in deeper and deeper with each new book. Lover Mine is my favorite! I have loved JM since his intro in Lover Eternal and this book just seals the deal!

"Total Freaking Awesome on a Ritz w/ Cheese!!"

I doubt I can say it better than Sandra from MO wrote, but... yeh, ditto ditto and more ditto.
It took me about 3 books to really start to like Jim Frangione. He's just so damned precise w/ his articulation. LOL, but now I think I'd be sick to hear anyone else read this series. He's wonderful. And JIC anyone out there forgot, JR WARD rocks it HARD w/ the BDB series and remember to check out Covet, the new Fallen Angel series. Man, please please please keep these coming. We love you JR WARD!!

    "My New Favorite!!"
    Any additional comments?

Wow! That is my reaction to this book. I am a stickler for reading a story from the beginning, so I read this book - even though I really wanted to skip it. For some reason, the whole John/Xhex thing was just not working for me in the previous books. To quote the Brothers, "I wasn't feelin' it". But as a dutiful fan of the series I could never allow myself to skip a book so, we read!

Holy crap! This is my new favorite book of the series! (Previous favorite: Lover Awakened). The chemistry between John and Xhex is believable, the back stories we learn about are thick with insightful character detail, and we get a mysterious new female character to wonder about, and the Lessers!!! (%!$# those LESSERS UP!), all while learning a very moral lesson that "Family is everything". Ta Da!

Seriously, I did not expect to like this book, but it was one hell of a ride. I was juuuust about to fizzle out of this series (not stop reading, but not immediately picking up the next book), but this book sucked me right back in.

    Downloading Book 9......now.

    Love Ya Jim!!

    "Who is Xhex?"
What did you love best about Lover Mine?

You find out exactly who and what Xhex is and what her life was like. You see the parallels between her life and John Mathew. Only people who have walked in your shoes know what it's like to suffer the agony. Lash did horrible things to Xhex, while he has her captured. Just as he tortured John Mathew when ever he could.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Xhex she is strong yet still a woman who wants to have a life with a man.

What does Jim Frangione bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I enjoy Jim Frngione very much and have listened to him narrate other books as well

    Any additional comments?

This is one of my favorite in the series, because you find out so much about Xhex, and her heritage, John Mathew, Lash, and the rest of the Brotherhood. Hope the next is as good.
