Knowledge without memories, information without understanding...A group of strangers wake to an unfamiliar place with more questions than answers.
When Joshua wakes up, he finds himself trapped. Dark and unfamiliar, the almost completely destroyed facility has clearly been through a catastrophic event. He must unite the others to solve what has happened. Who put them there? How can they get out? If they cannot work together, they risk losing more than just their own lives.

An exciting and cleverly written audio book, with its story, nicely delivered by the narrator. I couldn’t put it down untill the end. It is hard to put this book into one genre, because it has a little bit of everything, mystery, action, suspense, sci-fi… Even though it is a short audio book, the characters are not one-dimensional and are decently developed. I really hope there will be a sequel in the near future :)
Absolutely. I really loved this listen. It was a great sci-fi mystery that kept dropping breadcrumbs I felt I wanted to follow. The cast of characters and twists in the story kept me guessing!
Early on I *thought* I had the the mystery figured out and I was dead wrong.
Either Joshua or Ashley. It really is a toss up.
Racing to remember is the key to survival.
The story itself was surprisingly in depth given that it was relatively short. For the most part I really liked it and enjoyed the twists and turns. My only criticism is I felt there were a couple of plot points that seemed to be left incomplete. I would have liked more closure there. I hope to read more by this author!

I will admit that I am a Sci-Fi geek and my gold standard for authors are people like Stephen Baxter or Arthur C. Clarke. Tough acts to follow!
That behind said, one of my favorite series is The Event Group Files by David Golemon. The grammar in those books is horrible, but the stories are simply amazing to me.
Legacy feels something like Event Group to me and I found the premise and story to be very captivating. I really do want to read/hear more!
Think about developing the characters and story...just in case you decide to go for more.
Very well-done for an amateur sci-fi short story!
I am a wee bit over the half a century mark in years. I enjoy audiobooks, cats, rats and most days my family, not necessarily in that order!lo
Great start to a series! This is the story of people waking up and not knowing who they are ,where they are or what to do.There is little food in the place.Gradually they begin to remember and come to the very scarey realization of where they are.Tommy Faulk is a very good narrator.I was given this book free by the author, narrator or publisher.
Reminded me of a movie with a similar story, where strangers are trapped and have no memory how they got there in the first place. Just listening to this audiobook was so much better experience than watching the movie. It was mind challenging, with very well developed characters, great atmosphere and some nice and unpredictable twists in the plot. The narrator did a nice job here too, making me “feel” the book more intensely. 5 star rating well deserved!
It was interesting listening to how the story was unfolding. People are awakened and were then wondering why they were which lead to more questions on their survival.
There were many moments - when Joshua stood up to the bully. And when the over chipper chloe destroyed the attacking robot.
This was a good short listen it makes me wonder what may come next for the group of survivors. And if questions would be answered on the machine/system that seems to watch over them and who was the one who started to wake everyone up/cause the damage to the base. Hopefully a sequel will come soon.

Yes, I do. The narrator really brings each of the characters to life and emphasizes drama during action scenes. And this title is action packed from beginning to end.

This was an exciting and creatively put together story, that got me hooked from the first chapter. Very intense audiobook, interesting, not too long, yet not too short, ideal if you wanna kill some time. I am not a native English speaker so a good narration means everything to me, and the execution and narration of this audiobook is performed well by the narrator. Can’t wait for the sequel, I highly recommend it !!!
