    "Give me more"

This story doubles back on the timeline and even recalls word for word the phone call between Wolf and Talon while he debated whether to finish off his coffee or the prey hhe is supposed to be hunting--Fabbio alert! It continues past the news of Zarek's fate and then carries us forward to give Wolf's story the proper finish.
The story puts a few head-twists on how we view Damons and gives us our first non-human female love interest--an Apollite. We also get a hysterically funny view of Wolf's interactions with his nephew/Squire that make it worth the listen for those moments alone.
As usual, there is a tremendous amount of humor that often makes me laugh out loud as well as poignancy that brings tears to the eyes. We also get a satisfying reunion of Julian, Kirian, and Talon for a romping good fight plus more enigmatic Ash and his studly super powers.
I can hardly wait to get back to New Orleans for the next story and the tears and laughter I know it will produce.

"I Mark This Book As "FUNNY""

    short review:

Book is full of sex as usual, but it was funny, I can't say why but you will understand. My main concern is Acheron and in this book you get to know more about his powers and what he can do. damn can't wait to read the book which will be about him.

In this book there is a small twist, its not like the previous books, so you will like it.

    "Give me a Viking anyday."

Another great one, but in my opinion there are not any bad ones when it comes to the dark hunter series, only some better than others. I thought it was hot how they had dreams about one another.

    "The Dark-Hunter novels are great!"

Sherrilyn Kenyon was one of the first paranormal romance authors that I read. I love the stories and the whole Atlantis pantheon thing. Ms. Kenyon has a great imagination, and though this was not my favorite Dark-Hunter book, I always enjoy the boys. The stories are very entertaining and, in my opinion, MUST be read in order to get and understand the inside jokes, and to get the flow of the story as a whole.I am happy to see the series is finally making it to Audible (in order), and I hope all 21 Dark-Hunter (5 of which are in anthologies) and 4 Dream-Hunter books make it on Audible!!

    "Kiss of the Night"

I loved listening to this audio. It was better than reading the book. I loved Fred Berman he did an excellent job with the characters voices. I can't wait for Vane's book and please use either Fred Berman or Holter Gram as the narrator.

"FANTASTIC. LOVE THE DARK HUNTER SERIES!"

Kudos to both writer and narrator. Sherrilyn Kenyon come up wi Suat fantastic plots. Her dark hunters are so macho and such heroes. They are so.... romantic and so concerned about their loves. Fred Berman as usual give an excellent performance. His voices for the different individuals are so very, very good! I do hope that the future books for this series will be narrated by him.

    "different from the other stories"
    Any additional comments?

I have read this story twice now that I have read all the other available books in this series. There were things I missed or didn't quite catch the first go around but this story is a good stand-alone in the series. There are lots of loop holes when making deals with the Gods. Be sure to read the fine print.

    Story
    "Oh my Thor."

This story was amazing. Currently there are 23 novels in this series and I always worry about how the author is able to construct unique resolutions to essentially the same problem, freeing a dark hunter. I was blown away, yet again by unique and special characters. Wulf is a Viking warrier and Cassandra is an Apollite and a very special one at that. The time line of this novel overlaps Talon's and Zarek's story adding a little more dimension to previous books. Archeron makes a cameo as well as Simi (my favorite character) in this story as well as some other old friends. I really enjoyed hearing more about these characters.
One of the stand out features of this novel is learning more about the Apollites and daemons. I warn you more that you will find yourself sympathizing with them. I enjoyed hearing more about them but it also makes me feel a little frustrated at the dark hunters. I can't wait to see how the author develops this issue. I like each story in this series more and more. I continue to be impressed with Mr. Berman's narration it really adds to the story and doesn't distract at all.
