Publisher's summary

With great power comes great danger...

When a freak accident leaves Katie Chandler with magical powers, it seems like a wish come true for the former magical immune. But it also means she's vulnerable to magic, just when the dangerous Elf Lord is cooking up another scheme in his bid for power. Anyone who gets in his way disappears--including Katie and her wizard boyfriend, Owen Palmer.

Now Katie's under a spell that obscures her true identity, living a life right out of a romantic comedy movie in a Hollywood set version of New York. Will she be able to find her true Mr. Right in time to break the spell with a kiss and warn everyone, or will she be trapped forever, unaware of the doom facing her world?

I LOVE this entire series.

I enjoyed listening to this audible version of the series. I fell in love with the characters both magical and non! ;) It's nice to read something that's not R rated these days! Thanks for keeping it classy, funny, and romantic. The narration was fantastic and makes mundane chores such as cleaning house go by much faster. 👍👍👍

Excellent

This series had me hooked from the first book to the last. Didn't expect the ending but loved all the same.

All around Magical Series

This was a wonderful series with the best saved for the last. I will miss Owen and Katie and Granny and Merlin. I wouldn't mind seeing them again...

Back on track for a wonderful romp!!!!!!!!!

This is the seventh in the Enchanted Inc. series and I think the last. What a fun romp!!!!!!!!!!!

I said right along that this series has been a romantic comedy which is lighthearted, magical, and fun. In this book I have been proven MORE than correct. It could be named “On The Sidewalks of New York”. I think there was either a movie or song by that name.
All I can say once again is read and enjoy.

Best Yet

Pleasantly surprised. I enjoyed the light-hearted feel of all the books, but this one was the best thus far. Sad that it appears this is the end of the series.

Oof

Mind you, I’ve read the rest of the series leading up to this installment, and it truly feels like they’re getting more and more ridiculous. These characters talk like they were raised in solitary confinement on an alien planet. At one point she likens a quirky romantic moment to the opening of “a television situation comedy,” and every time a villain makes a move she calls it “putting the whammy on” their opponent. Multiple times. In one chapter, even. It feels like a 40 year old virgin trying to talk boys with twenty somethings. The narrator’s over-enunciation doesn’t help. When she’s not doing a “sassy Texan” voice, a comically fluttery middle aged bestie impression or a cheesy deep man voice, she’s pronouncing words like duh-TAILS and ruh-SEARCH. I want to scream.

the series has been going downhill

after 3 or 4 books of katy and Owens's relationship not deepening or changing in the slightest it does on the last page. It isn't as bad as the previous book but it still leaves you unsatisfied.

Love Owen and Katie

Love Owen and Katie in the real New York and the fake New York. Love how Owen and Katie found each other no matter where they end up.

Kiss and Spell

I enjoy this book, I was confused at first with the strange romp thru Lala land, but then the great escape. The Narrator was excellent as usual. I reccomend this book and series.
