Publisher's summary

Who can save the last boy on Earth?

Kingsley, 14, is too fat to wear swim trunks and too poor to play golf. But when colony collapse disorder finishes off the bees and moves on to anything with a Y chromosome, Kingsley has more to lose than video games and the attention of the girl he loves.

Kingsley's mother believes millions of dollars in research can save her son, and she'll lie, steal, and worse to get it. Can an unscrupulous mother and a spirited girl save the last boy on Earth?

Fans of dystopian fiction and ecothrillers (The Hunger Games, The MaddAddam Trilogy) will love Kingsley.

Reviewing the Kingsley audible book

The narrator did a great job with a lot of enthusiasm , portraying the different characters well. The story was a little complicated for me, too many people changing all the time . All the best for the next story

Intriguing ride. Collapse of life as we know it.

I read the Kindle version first. Had to listen as well.
Loved this book. It's an intriguing ride down into an environmental hole left by the collapse of life as we know it. The cause is an entirely credible extrapolation of man's accelerating assault on Earth's ecology, told through the life of 14 year-old Kingsley Smith, his unusual extended family and the medical community. The story is very well written and narrated. Great cast of characters.
Can Kingsley, the last boy on Earth, also become the seed of life's rebirth?
