Abridged version
My title says it all. Its not the narrator's fault. The audio compression used here hurts it slightly. I love this story but it is a shame to hear the heart cut out of it in this abridged version. Its rather like a short story version of the story I love. I would greatly look forward to a proper version of this book both of higher audio quality and unabridged.

Good for Abridged
After having read the original book years ago, it was nice to hear a fair reading. It would have been better if it had not been abridged.

ABRIDGED VERSION SLAUGHTERS THE STORY
Someone needs to record the UN-abridged version of this story. This audio book has terrible sound, and the narrator isn't suitable for this series. Read the book and forget this audio book. Not worth the price of purchase. Darn shame. DO BETTER AUDIBLE !!!

Bah, Humbug!
Abridged. Like brownies made without chocolate. A terrible thing to do to any excellent McCaffery. The performance was well done. Good job to the performer and writer. Bah, humbug to the director and producer.

Great story form a great author, but sadly it's another abridged edition. these are disappointing to someone who had read the books multiple times.

Crystals revisited
The second encounter with crystal singer Killashandra Ree is as satisfying as your first. Well written and fast paced you are swept along with the story. A good read.
