Love this Series!!
I love this whole series. I’ve read it through several times at this point. This book was dark and triggered the most emotion because of what happened to Mercy but it makes her life feel more relatable. More human. It ended on a cliffhanger. Spoiler alert, it takes Mercy a good while to move past her trauma throughout the fourth book. One of my favorite series, hands-down! ♥️

Good story-line to follow
I really like Ms Briggs characterization and story-telling ability.
The only issue I have is with her inclusion of a homosexual relationship in every book. It must be an important, "hot-button" topic for her, but she should remember that not everyone shares her viewpoint on that subject. I find it offensive and distasteful, and I wish she would "tone-it down" in her writing.
If Mercy Thompson is a God-fearing - church-attending - Christian, then she must be hearing a watered-down version of the Truth.

another fabulous story in the Mercy Thompson serie
I've read the entire series through a couple of times before deciding to listen to the Audible version. I've enjoyed the narrated story and think it adds another layer of enjoyment. it's also convenient to multi-task while listening, meaning there's more time to spend with the characters than reading itself allows.

I love all of the Mercy Thompson novels! Patricia Briggs is an amazing author! If you like the Mercy Thompson novels, you should check out Patricia Briggs' Alpha and Omega novels; they, also, are great novels!

This series just gets better!
Book 3 of the Mercy Thompson book is even better than the first 2. The love triangle is really turning up the heat, and I can't wait to know what happens next!
