Publisher's summary

For almost three years, Dtimun, the enigmatic and mysterious Cehn-Tahr commander of the Morcai Battalion, has been at war not only with the Rojok Dynasty...but also with his feisty medical chief of staff, Dr. Madeline Ruszel.

Now a surprising visitor from the future has charged them with the rescue of the enemy, field marshal Chacon. To ensure success, both Madeline and Dtimun must make personal sacrifices and attempt a dangerous mission behind enemy lines. Sparks fly as each twist and turn throws them closer together than they've ever been before, but can they resist acting on desires they have long denied?

If their plans are discovered, they face exile by their own governments and possibly even execution. If they do not act, the future will see the end of civilization itself....

Resolution of the Story

From the way these Morcai stories have been written, it feels as if the original thought was to do a trilogy. The story arcs that began in the first two books were wrapped up beautifully by the end. I had pretty much made conclusions about who different characters were in the previous books, but my guesses were confirmed by the end of this one. Very satisfying story overall. If you enjoy romance with your sci-fi, this is a great one to read! So glad to see several more are available in this series.

Love this story!

Stumbled across this story looking for another title. Remarkable story...now I'll have to read every book in the series.

Great Finish to a Brilliant story

What did you love best about Invictus?

I loved how the whole story that started 3 years before is completed.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Invictus?

My favorite part was when Madeline really realized who Dtimun really was and who his family really were.

What does Todd McLaren bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I have listened to all three books with Todd as the narrator and he just adds dimension to each of the characters.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

The moment that moved me the most was when Madeline and Dtimun saw the video from Komack.

Any additional comments?

I have been a fan of Diana Palmer for years, but this series, so different from most of her stories, was fantastic.
