Publisher's summary

2039: World War III begins with the Chinese invasion of the American Midwest.

In the third book of the Invasion America Series, bitter glacial cooling has brought the Earth to the brink of starvation, making U.S. soil the most valuable in the world. From Mexico, the Chinese-dominated Pan-Asian Alliance and the South American Federation smash across the Rio Grande. It is the greatest assault in history. With the Rockies on one side and the Mississippi River on the other, the Aggressors plan to race up the Great Plains to the Canadian border, obliterating the U.S. Army and splitting America in half.Meanwhile, German Dominion forces have massed in Cuba, ready to invade the East Coast.Vast armor sweeps, enemy wave assaults, the latest drones, lasers, ultra-modern tanks and jetpack commandos—America has to stop the enemy somewhere, sometime, or the nation will cease to exist. The most desperate hour in U.S. history has arrived.

Invasion: Colorado is a disturbing and controversial technothriller vast in scope, written by best-selling author Vaughn Heppner. To find the first book in the series, search for Invasion: Alaska.

great read of a really fun book.

found myself sitting in my car almost late for appointments listening to it. was also reading it at the same time and the reader did a great job of painting the picture without trying to over do the reading

End It Already

I read a review where someone wrote this series was "better than Tom Clancy".

This is good stuff, but not better than Tom Clancy.

Tom Clancy knows how to end a story.

JUST ANOTHER CORPSE IN THE FALLING SNOW

JUDGE A MAN BY HIS TIMES
VH does it again. He manages to keep my interest. Heppner refuses to jump on the band wagon of other authors and write about global warming or continue to name Russia as enemy number one. Heppner is politically incorrect, writes with cardboard cutouts as characters, yet entertains and informs for over 12 hours. I especially love the scenes involving the Chairman of China. We have all had a boss like The Chairman.

JET PACK FIGHTERS
We get to see this war through the eyes of the men on the front line of both sides and the men and women at the top. I rarely make it three books into a series, but I am still loving it and looking forward to going on to New York and probably facing the Germans.

Another winner

I love the way the V. Heppner tells his story. Its a big What If this happen in the furture. I truely hope this never happens but its so interesting! I hated writing essays in college. So this is my review.

Continues to get better

After the slow and steady climax of the story of the first two books, it was a no brainier to purchase this book. This book is the best one yet.

The Chinese have invaded, and easily gained much territory across the Rio Grande. Each battle is a slug fest, with no clear idea of who will be a winner at the end. Both Chinese and American forces have new secret weapons.

I am guessing there will be a 4th book in the series, with new characters and new enemies, but we will have to wait and see.

Mammoth

Don’t fish in China, w/o a harpoon. Never get in a hurry and leave anything to chance. Never think you can defeat the U.S.
