Not your typical alien invasion novel

This isn’t your typical alien invasion novel. The conquest of Earth has already occurred, and mankind is doing what it can to survive—well most of mankind. The factions within the military, politicians and police, have their own agendas, some with the interest of the average citizen just trying to get by, and others far more selfish.

This is set to the story of young John, struggling to survive, getting caught up on a genocidal conspiracy, and doing what he can to protect those he loves while trying to survive being hunted and imprisonment. All the while he strives to unravel the mystery of what happened to him and his friend Taz, and what might happen to humanity.

So, while there aren’t massive battles with soldiers battling waves of aliens or beleaguered armies withering under alien attacks (that’s already happened), there is plenty of action and intrigue to keep a reader’s (listener’s) interest.

With that said, the narrator did an excellent job bringing the story to life, moving it up a notch.
